Building God's Church: Responding to Your Call
Jeremiah 1:4-10 & 1 Peter 2:4-9
August 1
7 , 2008

Pay attention with willingness, because God has a calling for you.
The word of the LORD came to me, saying, ``Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart.''                                                             Jeremiah 1:5

Be honest with God and name your obstacles.
" Ah, Sovereign LORD,'' I said, ``I do not know how to speak; I am only a child.''                                          Jeremiah 1:6

Give what you have to God and God will take care of the rest.
Then the LORD reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me, ``Now, I have put my words in your mouth.''
                                                               Jeremiah 1:9
